Super Bowl Champions Spring 2011
Wow, my KYA Bantam Tackle football team won the Spring 2011 Super Bowl at Timber Creek High School last Saturday. We beat the KYA Trojans 25-19 in a shoot out. I am so proud of my young players. We were a 5-3 young football team with several rookie players new to tackle football.

This was a good weekend, both boy’s team won. Zane’s Jags finally got a win 18-6 over the Packers. Bear’s team is now 3-2, and mom said he made a huge sack on the QB this week. I missed the game for a third game in a row as I was coaching Zane’s Jags as offensive coordinator.
The Parker Brothers, Richard and Tyrese along with Coach Z and myself went to see Clash of the Titans in 3D after the games. It was pretty good. I thought better than the original. Unfortunately Mom had to work her last Saturday of the 2010 Tax season. Only one week more. Yeah!
Plus we finally found a Mexican restaurant that we like. Of course I have no idea what the name is of the place. Its next to Albertson’s of North Tarrant Parkway and 377.

Zane’s football team, the KYA Jags played the KYA Horned Frogs to a 0-13 loss on Saturday. The Jags offense struggled and defense played very well, recovering 3 fumbles. Zane played well on both defense and offense. But I especially thought he play outstanding on offense. On our last drive, Zane carried about 6 toads 5 yards trying to break out to the end zone. An outstanding effort and run!

This is one of my favorite pics of Bear at QB. He did not get to play QB very much last season but this is one of the few games he was able to play at QB for a few plays. He did great with very little practice.
